We've had a couple of melt-downs, nothing major but he refuses to drink milk from his sippy! He's been drinking water and juice from a sippy since he was about 6 months old so he is definitely familiar with the process. We have three different kinds of sippys, each with different spouts and he won't drink more than a few sips of milk from either.
Do you have any advice on how to speed this process up? I've even tried putting Nesquick in the sippy milk so he'll like it enough to drink the whole thing but NADA.
Google is not my friend on this one. I can't find anything so I am asking YOU!
Oh, by the way, Merry CHRISTmas! We had a great day today, more stories and pictures to follow of course!
UPDATE: THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO SHARED THEIR TRICKS! WE ARE HAPPY TO REPORT AS OF 12.27 CAMERON IS DRINKING MILK FROM HIS SIPPY LIKE A CHAMP. NO MORE BA-BA! HE'S A BIG BOY!
You are right, the longer you wait the harder it will be! Honestly, just don't give him bottles anymore. Only offer sippy cups, he will get thirsty enough that he will drink from it. It will be hard but worth it! You don't want a 3 year old walking around with a bottle. :) Hope you guys had a great Christmas!
